Born in the late 1960s, Arvydas Gaiciunas (Retne) is a Lithuanian artist. He is also known for being a professional performing artist, magician and illusionist. Since 1991, as a performer, he has starred in many international live performances and TV shows in over 30 countries, including BBC TV shows, Fox News, Daily Record, etc. He also holds several world records, most notably for being "Frozen in Ice" for almost 64 hours and "Underwater Breath-holding" for nearly 16 minutes.  

Retne's creative style is partly inspired by his studies, where he graduated from Moscow State College of Circus and Pop Art and completed the MoMA (New York) course certificates. His artistic influences are broad and varied, and his abstract style is inspired by prominent artist figures like Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock and Joan Miro. 

His success has led him to showcase his artwork at several solo exhibitions in Lithuania and collective expositions in Belgium, Holland and France.
