Born in Portugal in 1978, Mauro Simões (FUR) has been an artist for nearly 30 years. 

In the mid-1990s, Mauro got involved in the underground graffiti scene. He started to spray on the streets, evolving his style and technique and quickly grew a reputation for his stylish and unique tags.    

In 2003, he stopped painting in the streets to dedicate his time to creating music and studio art. Years later, he decided to get his unique graffiti art into the public domain. This is so his creativity could be appreciated by a wider audience.
